Torah Crown from Germany

This Torah crown was damaged by the Nazis during Kristallnacht.  It was brought to the United States by German survivors and used in the Cincinnati synagogue, New Hope, which was made up of German Holocaust survivors and their families.  The valued this item so highly, it was only used once a year on Simchas Torah, the annual celebration of completing the reading of the entire Torah.
