Summery: Werner Weinberg tells his story of his relationship with the town of his birth: Rheda, a rural town in Westphalia, Germany. In the article he describes his need after over 20 years to return to the town of his birth and that over a period of years he slowly helped guide the town in their efforts to memoralize the Jewish population who once lived there.
