Menachem Mendal Schneerson (1902-1994) was the seventh chabad-Rebbe and the last Lubavitch Rebbe. He initiated Jewish outreach in the post-Holocaust era; he sought to bring Judaism to Jews wherever they were in the world. He did this by building schools, camps, and community centers as well as a the creation of global emissaries.
