The United Mizrahi Bank was founded in 1923 by the World Mizrachi movement and is Israel’s fourth largest bank. It operates branches across the world, its Uruguay branch opening in 1982.
It merged with Hapoel Hamizrahi Bank and Tefahot Mortgage Bank in 1969 and 2005 respectively, hence its current title United Mizrahi Bank – Tefahot.
