HILLEL EXECUTIVE TO MEET ONCE A WEEK
The Hillel executive committee is composed of elected officers, committee charimen [sic], and representatives of the fraternities and sororities. The executive meetings are held once a week. ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED in joining any one of the Hillel committes may contact the proper person and receive a position on his committee. Your help will be greatly appreciated. JEWISH CENTER TO PRESENT FIVE SPEAKERS
The Jewish Center Forum for 1948-49 will include the following five speakers: November 15: Edgar Ansel Mowrer will speak on “The Nightmare of Our Foreign Policy.” December 9: Dr. S. I. Hayakawa will discuss “Our Changing Morality.” January II: The topic of Walter White’s talk on this date will be, “Color Line Across the Globe.” February 21: Harold Manson will speak on “Birth Pangs of a New Nation.” March 10: Margaret Mead will give a speech entitled, “What Is Happening to the American Family.” (Jewish Center Forum – cont. from Column I) All five of these lectures will be given at the Wise Center at 8:30 PM on the indicated date. A ticket for the series is $3.00. Seaprate tickets may be obtained at the door the night of each forum.
HILLEL CALENDAR
The Hillel Bulliten [sic] will publish a calendar for every month to help the members in keeping straight on their important dates. If any organization wishes to have its affairs included in this date list, please contact Gloria Aronberg, Av. 9531. The Bulliten [sic] goes to press two weeks before each meeting so be sure to get your news in before the deadline.
