No More War Medal Commemorating Sadat’s Visit to Jerusalem

1977

caption:
The front / obverse has in its center field front facing raised busts of Begin and Sadat (both of which appear to be rather unflattering representations of both men).  Underneath the busts, written in English, Hebrew and Arabic, is “AND NO MORE WAR”.  It should be noted that the above medal is one of the few medals that depict Begin and Sadat facing forward, with the vast majority of medallic representations of Begin and Sadat showing their profiles.
