The front / obverse has in its center field a right facing bust of Sadat.  In the lower center field is a picture of Sadat’s airplane in which he flew on his historic trip to Israel.  In the left field is the official symbol of Egypt and in the right field is the Star of David, the official symbol of the State of Israel.

Description
This medal was issued in sterling silver (45mm - mintage unknown) as part of the Franklin Mint’s Medallic Yearbook in 1977.  The edge of the medal is marked with “475 GRAINS STERLING” and 4 makers’ marks.
