The back / reverse of the government token has the inscription “ISRAEL GOVERNMENT COINS AND MEDALS CORPORATION” in Hebrew in the upper field, and in English in the lower field.  In the center field is the Corporation’s emblem and the year “5740-1980”.

Description
 
The token was issued in 1980 by the Israel Government Mint, Jerusalem, to commemorate the signing of the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty.  The token was issued with two separate reverses.  The token with the first shown reverse was issued in Copper/Nickel (30mm, 70,000 minted), and the token with the second reverse shown was issued in Copper/Nickel (30mm, 3,000 issued).  The token was designed by Ya’akov Anidi based on the “Peace” medal designed by Zvi Narkiss.  The token was engraved by Tidhar Dagan.
