The back / reverse has a map of part of Egypt and Israel, showing the Egyptian cities of Cairo and Suez and the Israeli cities of Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.  In the upper left field is a picture of a dove with its wings spread over both Israel and Egypt.  Curved around the lower rim in Spanish and Hebrew is written “TRATADO DE PAZ ISRAEL EGYPT 26.3.1979” (Peace Treaty Israel-Egypt 26.3.1979).

Description
This medal was issued in bronze (38mm - mintage unknown) and gold plated bronze (38mm - mintage unknown).  The edge of the bronze medals are marked with “BRONZE”.  The medal was issued by the Franklin Mint in proof-like finish.
