The front / obverse of the silver coins has a marking of “200 Lirot” par value.  The gold coins have a marking of “5000 Lirot”.  Above the par value legend is written in Hebrew, English and Arabic “ISRAEL-EGYPT PEACE TREATY / MARCH 26, 1979”.  Above the legend is the state emblem of the State of Israel.  Curved around the upper left rim is written in English, Arabic and Hebrew “ISRAEL”.  Curved around the lower right rim is written “1980 - 5740”.

Description
The coin illustrated in Figure 29 was issued by the State of Israel in 1980.  It was issued in Silver (37mm - 20,205 issued in one minting and 12,918 in a second minting) and Gold (30mm - 6,407 minted).  The silver coins were minted by the Federal Mint, Berne, Switzerland, and the gold coins were minted by the Royal Canadian Mint, Ottawa.  The medal was designed by Ketter-Pesach Studio, located on Kibbutz Ma’abarot in Israel.  The edge of the silver coin is stamped with “32nd Year of Israel Statehood”.
