Description
This is a large medal issued by Egypt in 1970 after the Israeli-Egyptian War of Attrition (1968 to 1970) in which Egypt tried to take back the Sinai which Israel took over in a previous war. The conflict was a draw, but Egypt celebrated it as a victory, considering how badly Israel defeated them in earlier wars. This medal is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter (81mm) and is 5mm thick; it is made of a hard white metal. The medal weighs over 6 ounces and it in its custom felt-covered box (no inscription).
