Cantoral Chants volume 4

These are the tunes for two statements said by the Chazzan and then by the Congregation at the end of the Neilah (final prayer) service on Yom Kippur.

The first is “V’nislach” from Vnislach lchol haam hazeh – translated as “pardon this whole nation”

The second is “Tikku” from "Tiku ba'chodesh shofar, ba'keseh l'yom chagainu", translated as "Blow the shofar when the moon is covered", i.e. when the moon is small, on the 1st day of the month.
