Class Picture of Yeshivos Meohr Hagodel Shearis Hapleita in Rome, 1946


This yeshiva was set up for the Jewish survivors of World War II (“Shearis Hapleita” – the surviving remnant), in Rome in 1946, with a picture of their building in the bottom left corner.
These yeshivas were set up for survivors after the war in many different places to help the survivors reclaim their lives.
