Palmach Negev Brigade Memorial Monument Commemoration

The front / obverse depicts image of the monument with legend "Monument of the Negev Brigade | Beer Sheva - 5729 - 1969".  The Brigade's memorial monument was created between 1963 and 1968 by the architect Dani Karavan near the Ben Gurion University in Beersheva, and incorporates 18 characteristics (artistic allusions) which relate to the wartime experience.
