In memory of Rabbi Eliezer Silver 1882-1968 Rabbi, Philanthropist, Scholar, and Humanitarian Past-President of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the US and Canada, founder and past-president of Agudas Israel of America, founder and past-president of Vaad Hatzalah, Chief Rabbi of Cincinnati Rabbi Silver was instrumental in founding the Cincinnati Hebrew Day School (Chofetz Chaim). His continued support of the school permitted its development as an outstanding educationl institution.
