Dear Friends:

We need not tell you of the tragic condition of our Jewish brethren and sisters in countries reigned by dictatorial powers. Their position grows worse momentarily and their heart-rending appeals for aid grow more desperate from day to day. They are faced with hunger, starvation, and a living death.
 
But, the holiday of FREEDOM-PASSOVER is coming. Our destitute brothers need MATZOHS and provisions! Agudas Israel has been able to establish contact in certain neutral countries for the baking and shipment of matzohs and other food products to our brethren in Nazi occupied lands. Thousands of Jewish homes in these countries are looking forward to our aid - so that they have at least matzohs for Passover.
 
Thousands of dollars are necessary for this worthy cause. We are their only hope! We must not fail them! We dare not forsake our brethren in this hour of need! Won't you help us to help them?
Will you kindly appeal to the members of your organization to contribute to this great cause, as soon as possible? May the blessings of the Almighty come to you for your generosity and sympathetic aid for these innocent victims of tragedy.
