Because we are CINCINNATIANS…
500,000 OF US MOST CONTRIBUTE
$3,300,000
to support  “the best coordinated welfare program of any community in the world.” We are doing our full share to relieve suffering all over the world and at the same time we are seeing to it that our own programs of helpfulness are permitted to operate adequately. Here are the vital services performed by the local health and welfare organizations included in the Community Chest:
Child Care
Services to Families, Desertion Problems, Relief
Character Building, Delinquency Prevention, Recreation.
Free and Part-pay Hospital Care
Health Services, Nursing, Clinics, Health Education
New Citizens Helped, Veterans’ Care Adjusted
Help and Rehabilitation to Handicapped Persons

Because we are JEWS -
Only 20,000 OF US  MUST RAISE THE SUM OF
$320,000
Because we are the only group having a direct interest in all three participating organization we must give accordingly in greater proportion - not only our share, but MORE!

The WAR CHEST is our responsibility as Americans -

The COMMUNITY CHEST is also ours as citizens of Cincinnati -

The JEWISH WELFARE FUND is ours alone, as Jews and humanitarians!
