Section 5. Financial Secretary. The Financial secretary shall keep a true and accurate account of the financial records of the congregation which shall clearly show the dues and standing of each member. He shall receive all the moneys paid in to the congregation from any source including Havre Kadisha and Havre Miskra and shall turn such moneys over to the treasurer at the end of each meeting and shall request a receipt therefor. At regular intervals as shall be determined by the president and the Board of Trustees, he shall issue bills or statements to the membership for the payment of dues or other obligations owing or pledged to the congregation. The financial secretary shall receive compensation for his services thus rendered in an amount to be determined on a date prior to his election. At the close of his term of office he must and shall surrender to his duly elected successor all of the books, documents and financial records of the congregation properly audited.
Section 6. Treasurer. The treasurer shall receive all money paid to the financial secretary and give a receipt therefor, and shall have in his charge all moneys belonging to the congregation and shall disperse the same by checks signed by him, by the president and the secretary. He must furnish such security of bond to the congregation as may be determined upon prior to his election. He shall keep an accurate account of the moneys received and dispersed by him and shall generally perform such duties as may be required of him by the congregation. On the expiration of his term in office he shall turn over to his successor all money, bank books, documents, and property of the congregation in his hands.
