Section 7. Comptroller. The comptroller shall supervise the documents of the congregation and in the presence of the financial secretary participating in the examination of the books of the congregation every three (3) months and make a report of his findings at the following meeting. From time to time he shall make recommendations as to such changes he deems necessary in the financial structure of the congregation or in the keeping of its books. During his term as comptroller he shall not hold any other office in the congregation.
 
Section 8. Gabboim
(a) Duties of the Gabbai Rishon. The Gabbai Rishon shall be present at services every day and see that the services are conducted in proper form. He shall see that the synagogue property is properly cared for and he shall have the right to contract for emergency repairs when such are necessary up to the extent of $10.00. He shall take care of all the collections during services and keep an accurate account of same and turn all collections and donations over to the financial secretary at the next meeting following his receipt of such collections and donations. He shall prepare the synagogue for holidays with the assistance of the Schamos employed by the congregation. He shall rent any part of the synagogue building for meetings or other purposes agreeable to the congregation and shall do his utmost to make our synagogue look and talked of as the best place to worship. He shall report all outstanding donations to our financial secretary at every meeting.
