AMENDMENTS
 
Section 1. The regulations and by-laws adopted by this congregation may be amended or repeated in whole, or in part. Such amendment shall be submitted in writing by seven (7) or more members of the congregation, all of whom must be in good standing. Such amendment shall be read at two successive meetings and the members of the congregation shall be notified that the proposed amendment will be voted upon at the time of the second reading thereof. In order to be adopted an amendment shall require an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members present.
 
Section 2. The same procedure shall be necessary in order to vote a reconsideration of a motion adopted at a previous meeting.
 
We, the undersigned, representing the more than two-thirds of the members of B’nai Jacob Congregation (Agudath Israel Beth Hackneseth Joseph Meyer) , do hereby agree to the adoption of this foregoing code of regulations and by-laws for the government of this congregation.
