EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING -2-     Aug. 12, 1920
 
Upon motion duly made and passed, this secretary Dr. R. W. Miller was requested to draft A CIRCULAR LETTER OF APPEAL, as the introductory step to a CAMPAIGN FOR FUNDS for the building of our synagogue. This letter was to be mailed to the Jewish Public of Avondale, and especially to the members of our congregation.
 
The following committees were appointed viz:
E. Schneider & I. Moskowitz to solicit donations from E. Kahn & Sons
A. Isaacs & K. Manischewitz to solicit donation from Oscar Berman
E. Schneider                           to employ attorney to examine title of lot.
 
On motion made by Dr. R. W. Miller and duly seconded and passed, The Executive Committee organized by electing the following officers;
Hirsch Manischewitz, Chairman
Dr. R. W. Miller, Vice Chairman
Jos. Manischewitz, Treasurer
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
