At about the same time the Adathean Club, for young people under 30, was reorganized. The minutes of the Board of Trustees comment that the Club "bids fair to become a potent factor in the life of the congregation".

In his annual report at the congregational meeting on Oct. 27, , Louis Weiland, as Secretary, recorded: "During the high holy days the Synagogue was filled to capacity. Services were also held in the Center auditorium by the Adatheans; in the Sabbath School rooms for young folks, 18 to 25; and in the chapel for children up to 18,

"The Men's Club fosters a spirit of good fellowship among the members; it has assisted in all the fund raising activities in the congregation, as well as furnished monthly cultural and entertainment facilities for members and friends, and has recently undertaken sponsorship of the Junior Congregation.

"The Ladies" Auxiliary has been carrying on its cultural, religious and fund raising activities with its usual vigor and success. Year after year the women of the congregation devote themselves whole-heartedly to the furthering of its objectives. They not only have attended to their own business and progress during the past year, but have, whenever called upon by the cnongregation, been joyously willing to lend their services in preparing dinners and taking care of the Religious School."

It is a source of satisfaction to quote from the minutes the following: "The facilities of our Center Building have been placed at the disposal of the community and have been used by the Young Judea, Big Brothers, B'nai B'rith, Jewish Center Association, A.Z.A., Hadassah and other cultural and religious organizations."

A sad date in the history of the Synagogue is that of Feb. 20th,1949, when the beloved and revered Rabbi of the congregation, Louis Feinberg, passed away. During the 31 years of his incumbency, Rabbi Feinberg left his impress not only on the members of the congregation, but on the community of Cincinnati.
