Temple Sholom Building Dedication Booklet (Cincinnati, OH)

February 5 1960

caption:
In November, at the fourth annual “Erev Thanksgiving” Ball announcement was made that Phase One of a Three-part construction program would start by the early spring with the construction of Frisch Hall. Cornerstone-Setting Exercises were convened on October 5, 1958. The multi-purpose auditorium was beginning to rise. Sabbath worship was initiated in the new striation on March 13, 1959. Renewed fund-raising enabled the competition of ten schoolrooms by Sukkos, 5720, with the new facilities in total use by October 17, 1959.

Building Dedication was now in order, as Temple Sholom had come to number some 315 member-families.

Sanctuary proper, more schoolrooms, and landscaping remain to be planned, financed, and executed.

But we have arrived at a time to pause in thankfulness for “what God hath wrought.” A need for creative Jewish religious experience is being met with heartwarming enthusiasm and devotion. Literally hundreds of men, women, and children have been participating in a miraculous achievement in “Five Eventful Years.” May God continue to guide us and bless us in the years to come!
