Counselorship established September 1, 1944, Leonard Beerman, Rabbi

1950's  located at northeast corner of Main and Walnut Streets. During this early period Joseph Cohen, Dr. and Mrs. Simon Rosin, are the main supportors of Miami Hillel.

November, 1965 Moved to 18 East Withrow

December, 1966 Arthur Beerman selected site on East Walnut for new Hillel House and provided funds to purchase land for same.

February 4, 1967 Property at 11-15 East Walnut purchased

September, 1972 Beerman Foundation awarded grant, making possible construction of Arthur Beeman Center

December 3, 1972 Elliott Levey offered the services of McGraw Construction in constructing the Hillel building. Karl Martin becomes the architect.

June, 1972 Moved to Park Place until new building ready

June 17, 1972 Groundbreaking

November 11, 1973 Cornerstone ceremonies

Student Presidents of Miami University Hillel at time final plans for new edifice were being completed: Judy Danhauser, Jay Peterman, Marsha Heyman

Professor Dan N. Jacobs, Oxford President; Judge Fred Cramer, Honorary Chairman, Building Committee; Carl Morgenstern, Hamilton, Vice-president; Claire Soifer, Dayton, Secretary; Professor Herbert Waltzer, Oxford, Treasurer
