We also wish to call your attention to the important fact that all funds are transmitted to Jerusalem by cable.

Our Dear Friends, We hereby wish to certify that we have received during the year 1940,through your acti-vities,the sum or £12825,17/-,(tvelve thousand eight hundred and twenty five pounds sterling and seventeen shillings) for the benefit of the Free Schools,College Etz-Hayim, and Bicur-Cholim Hospitals of the Holy City of Jerusalem.

On behalf of the thousands of poor and afflicted people who have been benefited by the above mentioned amount,we wish to express our heartiest words of thanks to all our worthy Members,Wardens, Patronizers and all who participate in the sacred work to maintain the existence of these greatest and foremost Institutions of the Holy Land.
