A special memorial meeting culminating the thirty-day mourning period for the late Rabbi Hirsch Manischewitz, who was ex-president of Kneseth Israel Synagogue, was held Sunday, Nov. 4th, at Kneseth Israel Synaogue, Washington and Rockdale Avenues. The late Rabbi Manischewitz, who passed away last Yom Kippur during services, was eulogized by Rabbi Eliezer Silver, Rabbi Mordecai Schiff, and visiting rabbis from the Young Israel conference and the Vaad Hahatzolah.
