Hostesses For Chofetz Chaim Dinner Are Announced and Pictured
Many volunteers have been working on the arrangements for the Chofetz Chaim Dinner on February 26th and last-minute reservations can still be taken care of, it was an-nounced today. Among these volunteers are the hostesses. As of publication date they are as follows:

DAVID NASSI. a seventeenth century Portuguese Jew who was expelled from Brazil in 1654, was granted a charter five years later from the Dutch West India Com-pany to establish a Jewish colony in Cayenne. He left Cayenne for Surinam when the French took the former colony in 1644. (JTA)
