THE JEWISH CENTRAL Orthodox Committee was created to assist in the work of the Joint Distribution Committee. Above Edward M. M. Warburg, JDC Chairman, Rabbi Israel Rosenberg. Chairman of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis (seated); Rabbi Eliezer Silver, and Moses A. Leavitt, sign the agreement creating the Committee.
