Description
The Exchange National Bank of Chicago was established in 1926 and was the first American Bank to open a branch in Israel.  The Bank was opened in Tel Aviv in 1970.

The decision was made in order to support American investment in Israel, especially for other American banks to involve themselves without significant risk. It also opened to serve Americans living and working in Israel who needed the services of an American banking institution.
However, about a decade later, in 1982, the bank closed and merged with LaSalle Bank National Association.
 
This medal was issued for the exclusive use of the Exchange National Bank, Chicago, U.S.A.
