Article "Heroism During the Holocaust" was written by Werner Weinberg and published in the June 22-29, 1983 edition of the magazine The Christian Century.

Summery: Werner Weinberg writes about the experience of going to Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, Israel to participate in a ceremony honoring Jennie and Wim, the couple who hid and saved his younger daughter Susie in Holland during the Nazi occupation. Weinberg tells the story of how him and his wife found the couple, how they managed to get Susie to them (not once but twice) and their reunion after the war.
