Edge:               Stamped “State of Israel”, Each medal was individually numbered.  The version in the collection of the Cincinnati Judaica Fund is numbered “4650”

Mintage:          6088 were minted.  The first 3,000 were minted by the Kretschmer Mint and the remaining were minted by the Hecht mint
