Description
This medal was issued by the Franklin Mint in 1979 to commemorate the signing of the Egyptian / Israeli Peace Treaty on March 26, 1979.  It was issued in sterling silver (38mm - mintage unknown) and in 24kt gold electroplate on sterling silver (38mm - mintage unknown).  Each medal was issued in a hard plastic container (93mm by 68mm) with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Franklin Mint.  The medal was issued as part of the Franklin Mint’s Eyewitness Medal Series.  The edge is marked with “STERLING” and with the Franklin Mint mark.
